Tongue Bolt Trimming Specifications
The Manual Tongue Bolt system is used for all single and sidelite unit configurations. This system
requires a lower gear and a top extension only. The faceplate of these parts is trimmable up to the
screw hole above or below the tongue mechanism.

Notes:
1. Trimming of bottom gear will change the handle height on door. Determine the desired handle height
before machinging for lockset.
2. Trimming of top extension will not change handle height on door.
3. The extensions can be trimmed as desired as long as there is a screw hole left beyond the tongue
mechanism for secure mounting.
