3 FASTEN STRIKE PLATE ASSEMBLY.
(Sold Separately)
4 APPLY SNAP-IN COVER.
5 APPLY CORNER SEAL PAD.
CAUTION:
Corner seal pads are only used
with inswing units.
Apply corner seal pad against weatherstrip with
bottom edge in line with bottom edge of seal.
Position latch/deadbolt strike plate
in mortised pocket on astragal using
screws provided in Multi-Point Strike
Plate Package
6 INSTALL LONG HINGE SCREWS
(SITE ONLY).
With door open,
at hinges where
labels indicate,
drill 1/8” dia.
Pilot holes
and drive
#10 x 2-1/2”
(2-top,
1-middle,
1-bottom)
screws through
hinges to anchor
door frame and
prevent sagging.
#10 x 2-1/2”
screws

Plate
Align longer snap-in cover with top of
strike plate and snap into place. Trim to
length of astragal.
Align shorter snap-in cover with bottom of
strike plate and snap into place. Trim to
length of astragal.
