Fault messages
The type of fault is indicated via the status of terminals A1 and A2, if the external voltage
supply is not interrupted during faulty operation:
A1 = LOW
collective error message (all faults)
A2 = LOW
faults of the supply system.
)
Note!
ƒ
Response time of the fault messages in case of mains errors: < 20 ms.
ƒ
Reaction time of reconnection (switch on): < 0.5s.
Terminal X2/ Operating behaviour
Possible cause
Remedy
Fault reset
A1
A2
HIGH HIGH
Supply and feedback
operation possible; no fault
is active
LOW HIGH
Supply operation is still
possible, feedback
operation is inhibited
Overtemperature
Automatically after cool
down of the regenerative
power supply module
l
Ambient temperature
too high
l
Reduce ambient
temperature
l
Overload of the
regenerative power
supply module
l
Check dimensioning, if
necessary, use
additional braking units
l
Heatsink dirty
l
Clean heatsink
Feedback operation is
inhibited
Overvoltage in the DC bus,
regenerative energy
exceeds the regenerative
power
Check the dimensioning of
the drive system
Automatically, if the
DC−bus voltage is within
the permissible range
LOW LOW
Operation not possible
Mains voltage
< 320 V or > 528 V
Check mains voltage;
For isolated operation with
generator: Check
dimensioning of the
generator
Automatically, if the mains
voltage is within the
permissible range
All−pole mains failure
Switch on the mains
Supply operation is still
possible, feedback
operation is inhibited
Mains error or connection
error detected by mains
synchronisation
Check connection for
in−phase wiring
Automatically, with
in−phase wiring
Mains frequency
< 48 Hz or > 62 Hz
Check mains frequency;
For isolated operation with
generator: Check
dimensioning of the
generator
Automatically, if the mains
voltage is within the
permissible range
Single pole phase failure
L1, L2 or L3 by defective
fuse
Replace fuse when no
voltage is applied
After replacing the fuse
and reconnection
