3-14 SCRAPER ASSEMBLY
3-14.1 Assemble the scraper bar support at each
bearing hanger using two 1/2” x 1-1/2” bolts,
lockwashers and nuts at each hanger. Use
the top holes for 17” rollers and the bottom
holes for 19” rollers (See Figure 3-24).
3-14.2 Mount the scraper bar to the scraper bar
supports using tab and 3/8” whiz nuts.
3-14.3 Mount standard scrapers between each
wheel (except at the bearings) using 3/8” u-
bolts and whiz nuts. Maintain an 1/8” space
between the scrapers and the rollers.
3-14.4 Modified scrapers are provided to be used
under frame members.
