Gold Wing 1800 INSTALLATION: P115W-D
The new release P115W-D with embedded microprocessor is now
assembled with 3-pins to help with correct polarity. The H7 bulb (P260
base) has only 2-pins. However, the connector of the wiring harness for
each of the H7 bulbs has 3-position socket - only 2 parallel positions are
connected. This helps
to line-up correct
polarity when you
install the socket on
the back of the
pathBlazer.
Remove both pockets
as shown here to gain
access to the H7 2-pin
headlight bulbs. The
Hi-beam bulbs are the
outer pair.
First remove the socket from the back
of each H7 bulbs, and then install them
on the back of each of the Master and
Slave
pathBlazer units. The 3
rd
pin
will help line-up correct polarity as
shown. Now you can reinstall them on
the bulbs.
