3.0 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
CST and CDT cylinders have a fully threaded
body for maximum mounting flexibility. The
maximum operating pressure is 5000 psi
[350 bar] (35 MPa). CSM cylinders have
a threaded body with a hexagonal flange
for manifold and/or fixture mounting. The
maximum operating pressure is 5000 psi
[350 bar] (35 MPa).
CST models are single acting, spring return.
The oil port is located in the bottom of
the cylinder. CDT models are double-
acting, hydraulic return. The oil ports are
located in the bottom of the cylinder. Oil
port specifications are identified by model
number (see Table A). CSM models are
single acting, spring return. A seal is
included with all CSM style cylinders, which
must be installed and positioned between
the cylinder and the manifold for proper
sealing and installation. (See illustration 1a
and 1b.)
4.0 APPLICATION
These cylinders are designed to position and
clamp workpieces in workholding fixtures.
Because of the compact design they are
ideal for mounting in confined areas.
