517. Move back to the top of the
rim. Rotate the dual roller for the
large roller to be down.
518. Reposition the tire to move
it toward the roller. Push on tire
tread opposite the roller.
519. Position the roller to the
outside edge of the rim to push the
support ring into position. Next,
position the upper tire bead on the
tire bead guide supporting the
large diameter roller.
520. Apply a light lubrication to
the top bead to allow the tire to
float over the rim as the support
ring is pushed into location.
521. Rotate the wheel and apply
a down force after each revolution.
Use the valve as a guide, only
apply force after a complete revo-
lution.
522. Continue to rotate and
apply additional force after each
revolution. To engage the retainer
clips of the ring into the rim may
take several revolutions of the
wheel.
523. As the support ring is
pushed near location, the tire must
be held upward at the location
opposite the rollers, to prevent the
roller system from grabbing the
tire sidewall.
524. In most cases, when the
small roller contacts the rim flange,
the support ring is located cor-
rectly.
525. Loosen the tire/rim assem-
bly from the center post and flip
the assembly over.
526. With the back side of the
wheel UP, tighten the hub nut.
