Isolated 4-20 mA Wiring
(IRU-2003 only)
The IRU-2003 is equipped with an isolated 4-20 mA output. This means that
the 4-20 mA circuit can be powered by the receiver (such as a datalogger) or
the source that is powering the receiver. Isolated wiring is used to prevent
potential ground loops that can exist in instances where the IRU and receiver are
not sharing the same power source. The 4-20 mA circuit can also be wired as a
standard current sourcing 4-20 mA signal simply by powering the circuit from
the same power source used by the main IRU sensor circuit
