NOTE: Do not mix together oils of different brands or char-
acteristics.
NOTE: The gearbox is supplied without oil; before putting
the gearbox into operation, it is necessary to fill it
with oil.
This procedure is undertaken following the indications
given below.
1.
Check that the gearbox axis is horizontal. Rotate the
gearbox housing until the drain plug (A) is on the
bottom on the vertical axis of the end cover.
2.
Unscrew the fill and level oil plug (B).
3.
Fill from the hole until the lubricant flows out.
4.
Tighten the fill and level oil plug (B) and let the gear-
box run. After a few minutes, stop and check the oil
level.
5.
If necessary, refill with lubricant oil. Approximate oil
capacity = 2 liters ±10%
Gearbox Disengagement
The gearbox is supplied with mechanical disengagement.
THE DISENGAGEMENT OPTION MUST BE CONNECTED OR DIS-
CONNECTED ONLY WHEN THE GEARBOX IS STOPPED ON FLAT
GROUND.
