5.3 Verifying the Thermomixer and ThermoStat
Prerequisites
•
The Thermomixer or ThermoStat is switched on.
•
The Measuring device with the temperature sensor is switched on.
The Temperature sensor 1,5 mL is used to verify the following devices:
•
Thermomixer comfort
•
Thermomixer compact
•
ThermoStat plus
The Temperature sensor 384 Well is used to verify the following devices:
•
ThermoMixer C
•
ThermoMixer F1.5
•
ThermoMixer FP
•
ThermoStat C
They are referred to as "device" in the following text.

1. Insert the Temperature sensor 384 Well in the standard bore of the thermoblock (see
illustration). Insert the Temperature sensor 1,5 mL in the bore at position 15.
Position 15 is located in the 3rd row from the top and the 3rd column from the left.
2. Set a temperature of 37 °C on the device.
The thermoblock will be heated.
3. After the display shows 37 °C, wait 5 minutes.
4. Note the temperature value displayed by the measuring device.
5. Calculate and note the difference to the temperature value on the device display.
Hint!
Do not verify the thermomixer during mixing.
Hint!
The temperature values of the Thermomixer or ThermoStat are not
automatically compared to the temperature values of the measuring device.
All values must be noted and manually evaluated after the measurement.
