CONNECTIONS
A Making connections
1 Connect the LINE OUT jacks of this unit to the input jacks
(CD or AUX) of the amplifier. Make sure that the white plugs
are connected to the left (L) jacks and the red plugs to the
right (R) jacks.
• Be sure not to connect this unit to the amplifier’s PHONO
jacks, as sound will be distorted and normal playback will not
be possible.
2 Connect the power cord to a household AC wall outlet.
• Make sure plugs are inserted fully into the wall outlet.
Note!!
If you connect the power cord to a "SWITCHED" AC outlet on an
amplifier, you will not be able to use this unit's memory
function.
B Connecting the OPTICAL FIBER CABLE
This unit can be connected to an amplifier equipped with an
optical digital jack.
1. Remove the protective dust cap from this unit’s OPTICAL
DIGITAL OUT jack.
2. Use an optical fiber cable to connect the OPTICAL DIGITAL
OUT jack of this unit to the optical input jack of the amplifier.
• Align the plug of the optical fiber cable with the optical digital
jack and fully insert the plug to make a secure connection.
Use a separately sold optical fiber cable for the optical digital
jack connections.

Before making or changing the connections, switch
off the power and disconnect the power cord from
the AC outlet.
RACCORDEMENTS
Avant d´effectuer les raccordement, ou de les
modifier, veillez à couper l´alimentation et à
débrancher la fiche du cordon d´alimentation.

A Raccordements
1 Reliez les prises LINE OUT de cet appareil aux prises
d’entrée (CD ou AUX) de l’amplificateur. Veillez à ce que les
fiches blanches soient reliéee aux prises de la voie gauche
(L) et les fiches rouges à celles de la voie droite (R).
• Prenez garde de ne pas relier cet appareil aux prises PHONO
de l’amplificateur, ce qui entraînerait une forte distorsion du
son et des anomalies de lecture.
2 Branchez la fiche du cordon d’alimentation sur une prise
secteur.
• Veillez à ce que la fiche soit complètement engagée dans la
prise.
Remarque!!
Si le cordon d’alimentation est raccordé à une prise secteur
commutée (”SWITCHED”) de l’amplificateur, vous ne pourrez
pas utiliser les fonctions de mémoire de l’appareil.
B Raccordement du câble à fibres optiques
Cet appareil peut être relié à un amplificateur muni d’une prise
optique pour signaux numériques.
1. Retirez le cache qui protège la prise OPTICAL DIGITAL OUT.
2. Utilisez un câble à fibres optiques pour relier la prise
OPTICAL DIGITAL OUT de cet appareil à la prise d’entrée de
l’amplificateur.
• Présentez la fiche du câble à fibres optiques en regard de la
prise et engagez-la à fond de manière à réaliser une bonne
liaison.
Pour réaliser cette liaison, vous pouvez vous procurer un câble à
fibres optiques dans un magasin d’appareils audiovisuels.
