Installing on NetWare
This section describes how to install Adaptec Storage Manager on
computers running NetWare. See
System Requirements on page 18
for a
list of supported operating systems.
Before You Begin
You need the latest Support Pack for your operating system so you can
run the supported Java Virtual Machine (JVM). You need JVM version
1.3 or later. To check your JVM version, load JVM, type
JAVA -VERSION

Installing Adaptec Storage Manager

Insert the Adaptec Storage Manager CD.

From the command prompt, type
load cdrom
and press Enter.

From the command prompt, type:
xx_yy_zz:\netware\manager\install
where xx is the product CD, yy is the version number, and zz is the
release number. For example:
adptcd_v2_01
The installation program starts.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Repeat these steps to install Adaptec Storage Manager on every
NetWare computer that will be part of your storage space.
