1. Run the Configuration/Setup Utility
program and load the default settings.
2. Reseat the following components:
a. SATA or SAS cable
b. Reseat the hard disk drive

Reseat the system board.
d. Replace the components listed in
step 2 one at a time, in the order
shown, restarting the server each
time.

on drive x (see “Running the diagnostic

2. Reseat the following components,
depending on the server model:

d. SAS/SATA backplane
v Simple-swap models:

each time:
