Controlled playback using the Callers List
You can select or screen the messages that are played back by using the Callers List.
Playback Options
There are five options you can use when you are listening to your messages:
• pressing
‘ once allows you to listen to your messages at a faster than normal
speed and still understand the message,
• pressing
“ once skips back five seconds in the message and returns to normal
speed,
• pressing
˙ once pauses the message,
• pressing
– advances to the next message,
• pressing
∑ twice erases the message during controlled playback only (i.e., when
you select a message from the callers list).
Make Message New
You might have listened to a message that was intended for someone else. The 9516CW
allows you to make the message new again.
Selective message delete
You can delete individual messages at any time without changing the order of the message
list.
To select the order of messages:
1. Press

to find the message you want.
3. Press

to listen to a message.
4. After you have listened to your message, press

To make a message new:
1. Press

2. Use

to find the message that you want to make new.

To delete messages one at a time:

5. To continue deleting messages one at a time, repeat steps 1 through 4.
