Turning the Answering Machine on or off
You can turn the answering machine on or off through the Set Options list. The default set-
ting is on.
Even when the answering machine is turned off it will answer the call after 15 rings. This
allows you to turn on the answering machine using the Remote Access feature. For infor-
mation about Remote Access, see Remote Access
on page 55.
Number of Rings before answering
You can set the number of rings the answering machine waits before answering. You can
choose from two to nine rings. The default setting is four rings.
To turn the answering machine on or off:
1. Press the Set Options key.
