Required Cables
Table 7 contains the specifications of the cables required for the twisted
pair ports on the AT-8326GB Fast Ethernet switch.
Note
The ports on the AT-8326GB switch are IEEE 802.3ab-compatible
and are configured automatically by the switch as MDI or MDI-X
when connected to a 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps end node. This allows
you to use either a straight-through or cross-over cable.
Note
For cabling specifications for an optional GBIC module, refer to the
GBIC Installation Guide included with the module.
