Installing the i500 Installation CD Software
Installing the i500 USB Drivers, Palm
TM
Desktop, and Pocket Mirror
Applications
1.
Insert the i500 Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive and wait for
the
Welcome
screen to display.
2.
Click the
Basic Install
button.
3.
Read the installation instructions and click on the
Install
button.
4.
Follow the onscreen prompts to continue the installation process.
5.
When the Select Software screen is displayed, the following software
options are available:

USB Drivers
- Installs the USB Drivers which are required to
perform the HotSync operations with your i500.
ᮣ
Palm Desktop Ver. 4.1
- Installs the Palm Desktop software which is
required to perform HotSync operations with your i500.
ᮣ
Pocket Mirror Ver. 3.1.3 Std Edition
- This software allows you to
synchronize your Microsoft Outlook information when you perform
a HotSync operation.
6.
Select the desired software and click the
Next
button.
7.
Follow the onscreen prompts to continue the installation process.
8.
Click the
Finish
button to restart your computer.
