Notes, Tips, etc.
Occasionally, throughout this guide you will see icons and
text set apart from the rest. These are intended to point out
important information, quick methods for activating features,
to define terms relative to the subject at hand, and more. The
definitions for these methods are as follows:
Notes explain alternative options within the current feature,
menu, or sub menu.
Tip: Tips provide quick or innovative methods for performing
functions related to the current subject.
Fast facts are like snippets from the glossary. Fast
facts provides definitions in context and close
proximity to menu or feature in question.
Important! Points out important information about the
current feature that could significantly affect performance or
damage to your phone.
Install the SIM card
Before you can use the GSM features in your phone, you’ll
need to install a SIM card. SIM cards are provided by
Verizon Wireless.
1. With the battery removed from
the phone, insert the SIM card
face down into the slot provided.
2. Slide the SIM card as far as
possible to the right, beneath
the SIM card retaining brackets.
