GSM Services
The a790 is a global phone designed to function in numerous
countries using CDMA and GSM technology. CDMA mode is
designed for operation within the United States, while GSM
(Int’l) mode is designed for operation outside the United
States, in countries with compatible networks. Enhanced
security options and portability of subscriber information are
two notable differences in GSM mode versus CDMA. Keep in
mind that services specific to GSM cannot be accessed while
in Verizon (CDMA) mode, and vice versa.
Your phone must be in Int’l (GSM) mode for the following
menu options to be available.
Call Diverting
Call Diverting allows you to select from up to four options (or
conditions) to forward your calls to another number. You’ll
need to enter your PIN code to enable this feature.
