In the example above, 1-800-SAMSUNG will appear on
your display, although the number 1-800-726-7864 is
actually dialed.
Answering a Call
When you receive an incoming call, the Incoming screen appears
in the display.
1. Press to answer the call or the right soft key
Ignore to send the call to voicemail or the left soft key
Quiet to silence the ringer.
2. Call answered in Landscape mode are received through
the speakerphone.
Creating and Sending Messages
1. From the Home screen, in landscape mode press the left
soft key Message.
2. Press New Message.
3. Press the number associated with the message type you
would like to create and send:
– TXT Message
Note: From the Home screen, you can also send a new TXT Message by
pressing the New TXT Message key .
– Picture Message
– Video Message
– Voice Message
4. In the To: field:
• By default the entry mode is Abc so that you can enter a contact
name or Email address of the recipient. If you have contacts stored
in the Contact List, you will see a list of partially matched names in
the drop down box as you type/enter characters. Use the directional
arrows to select a contact and press
.
• Press the Text Entry Mode key , to change Entry Mode to
123!?. In portrait orientation, choose from T9 Word, Abc, 123,
Symbols and Domain Extensions. In landscape orientation, chose
from Abc, 123!?(Symbols), More Symbols, and Domain Extensions.
• Press the right soft key Add to add a recipient From
Contacts, Recent Calls or Groups.
5. Press or to highlight the Text: field.
6. Use the QWERTY keyboard and special function keys to
create your message.
7. Complete applicable fields and press .
