Instant Messages
Ⅵ In standby mode, press the Down navigation key (MESSAGE shortcut), then press
(for Instant Messages). A browser screen appears in the display showing
Instant Messaging options.
Note: Contact your Wireless Provider for information about subscribing to and accessing Instant Messaging.
E-mail
Ⅵ In standby mode, press the Down navigation key (MESSAGE shortcut), then press
(for E-mail). A browser screen appears in the display showing E-mail options.

Voicemail
Voicemail allows callers to leave voice messages in your voice mailbox, and lets you
review, play, and delete your voice messages any time you are in your Carrier’s network
coverage area.
New voice messages in your voice mailbox cause your device to plan an alert tone and
show an icon at the top of the display.
1. In standby mode, press the Down navigation key (MESSAGE shortcut), then press
(for Voicemail). The following options appear in the display:

Call Voicemail — Dials your voice mailbox and lets you listed to your voice messages.
Note: You can, in standby mode, also press and hold the key to dial your voice mailbox.
•
Clear Envelope — Removes the Voicemail icon from the display.
2. Use the Up and Down navigation keys to highlight the desired option. Press the
key to launch the highlighted option.
Voice Mail Setup
Before callers can leave voice mail messages, you must first set up your account. See
“Setting Up Your Voice Mail” on page 11 for more information.
Checking your Voicemail
1. In standby mode, press and hold the key until you’re connected to the voice mail
system. A recorded message prompts you for a password.
2. Enter your password, then follow the recorded prompts, to listen to your voice
message, change administrative options, and so on.
