Valve Driver Settings:
Dual Coil Valve Driver
Default File: ValveDriver 2Coil r0.dat
After installation, your GUI will display the following settings in the various windows.
Command Input:
Command Input is set at 0 – 5 Volt input with a valid
command range of 0.1 – 4.47 Volts.
Valve B range is .10 to 2.24 volts.
Valve A range is 2.24 to 4.47 volts.
In this example, Center is at 2.24 volts and Command
Input error detection is “ON.”
Command Error Default: Exceeding the limits will set the
command input to 2.37 volts, this value falls within the
deadband % (variance around center that is dead) and
therefore 0 current is supplied to coil A. CMD deadband %
is the deadband around center, (2.24 volts) or 0 current.
In the following illustration, 5% of Command Selection is .25V, with the center at 2.24V there will be no output drive
until command volts is above 2.49V or below 1.99V.
