Delete task
Use this task to delete an existing zone group. After the zone group is deleted, the drive bays or
ports associated with the deleted zone group will be available for selection and inclusion in a
different or new zone group.
IMPORTANT: When using zoned SAS storage enclosures, before deleting a zone group, logical
units associated with disk drives in that zone group must be deleted. If a deleted zone group has
disk drives in bays that are configured as part of a logical unit, there may be I/O problems and
the controller may send error messages to the system logs about an illegal drive movement.
To perform this task, expand the display for the active switch in the navigation tree, select a zone
group and click Delete.

To delete ALL zone groups, use the Clear Configuration option. For more information, see
“Clear Configuration task” (page 35)
