3. Assign the zone group to the server device bay that needs access.
IMPORTANT: For drive-bay zone groups, restrictions apply:
•
Server device bays 1–8: Can only be assigned zone groups associated with switch ports
1–4.
•
Server device bays 9–16: can only be assigned zone groups associated with switch ports
5–8.
a. In the navigation tree, select the server device bay that needs access to the storage
associated with this zone group, and then click Modify Zone Access.
b. Check the box corresponding to the zone group that you want to assign to the server
device bay and click OK. (If the Multi-initiator mode is disabled, only unassigned zone
groups are displayed. If a zone group has already been assigned to a server device bay,
it is not displayed.)
NOTE: All available zone groups are displayed. As shown in this example, only one
zone group was created, so it is the only zone group displayed.
