Configuring updates after deployment
Some software updates require configuration to ensure proper function of the component. The components
run at default settings and must be configured to enable full functionality.
You can use Remote Desktop to connect to the client for component configuration.
Downgrading components
Software updates can be used to downgrade individual components and HP ProLiant Support Packs to
maintain compliance within an SMS enterprise environment. Downgrading individual components is not
supported on HP Integrity servers.
By default, the scan tool runs in "Latest" mode, reporting only the status for latest components and,
therefore, enables you to update to a newer version of the component only . You can downgrade a
component by changing the scan tool mode with the force component installation option:
