Verizon Messages
The Verizon Messages app , the Messaging app , and the Hangouts
app are all pre-loaded on your phone to send messages. Verizon
Messages is an integrated messaging app that allows you to send and
receive messages on your phone, tablet, and PC using your mobile phone
number.
Text and multimedia messages sent or received using your mobile phone
number from all of your devices (phone, tablet, and web) will be visible on
Verizon Messages. Messages sent using other messaging apps may be
delivered differently and therefore may not be available in Verizon
Messages.
Verizon Messages has many extra features not found in other messaging
apps. Glympse lets you choose people who can track your location on a
map which can help you to be able to meet up. You can see all of your
shared media from your phone, tablet, and PC which allows you create a
variety of projects with the apps.
To open the Verizon Messages app
From the Home screen, tap Verizon Messages (in the QuickTap Bar).
Using the Verizon Messages app
To use all of the Verizon Messages features, open the Verizon Messages
app, read the pop-up box information, tap OK, then tap Yes.
Tap the New message icon (at the top of the screen) to start a new
text or multimedia message.
Tap here to create a new message.
Tap an existing conversation thread to open it.
Tap the Show icon (in the upper-right corner of the screen) to select
Full Conversation, Photos & Videos, Locations, Links, Contacts, and
Audio.
