Assignable Buttons
The camcorder conveniently features 2 buttons to which you can assign various functions. By
assigning often used functions, you can quickly access them with a single press of a button.
Changing the Assigned Function
1 Open the selection screen for the desired assignable button.

[Assign Button 1] or [Assign Button 2]
2 Select the desired option and then touch [a].

Using an Assignable Button
After you assign a function to one of the buttons, press the button to activate the function.
Operating modes:
[
BLC Always On]
Turns backlight correction on/off.
[
Face Only AF]
Turns face only autofocus on/off (
0 54).
[
Story Creator]
Activates Story Creator mode (
0 105).
[
Z Video Snapshot]
Turns video snapshot on/off (
0 85).
[

WB Priority]
Turns white balance priority on/off (
0 153).
[
Y
IR Light]
Turns the infrared light on/off (
0 89). The handle unit must be attached to use this
option.
[
Audio Output CH]
Switches the audio output channel (
0 153). The handle unit must be
attached to use this option.
[
AF/MF]
Switches between autofocus and manual focus (
0 51). This option is available only
for assignable button 1.
[
Powered IS]
Turns Powered IS on/off (
0 60). This option is available only for assignable
button 2.
[
B
Off]
Does not assign a function to the assignable button.
