4.3.4 Auger Transport Position
1. Position the auger so that the tube
is resting on the locking mechanism
at the back of the aircart. In TBH
configurations only, the hopper can be
rotated down for transport. 2. The locking mechanism must be
used to secure auger when transport-
ing at all times.
3. Be sure to secure locking mecha-
nism by replacing pin. 4. Lift and swing handle in towards
the aircart, then pull down to secure
it. Push the auger diverter valve back
to the fan position
NOTE: Fill auger should
always be secured for trans-
port, no matter how short
the distance. Clean out auger
prior to transport or storage.

4.4 Fill Conveyor
NOTE: Aircart lids must be
closed and sealed for accu-
rate metering. If metering is
erratic, ensure tank lids are
closed properly.
DANGER! Use extreme caution when moving the convey-
or, especially near power lines. It is not necessary to come
into direct contact with an overhead power line for electro-
cution to occur. Serious injury or death will result
WARNING! Keep arms, hands and legs away from convey-
or intake. Wear appropriate fitting clothing when working
in the vicinity of a conveyor. Keep all guards and shield in
place and inspect to ensure they are properly attached and
intact. Serious injury or death could result.
WARNING! Never open Aircart lids when fans are running.
The tank is pressurized and injury to eyes and/or skin could
occur.
