Performance Monitoring of Delay Measurement Objects
The following tables are supported on Brocade 6910 switches.
Frame Delay Measurement Configuration table
The mefSoamDmCfgTable includes configuration parameters for Frame Delay Measurement.

Description
mefSoamDmCfgTable
1.3.6.1.4.1.15007.1.3.1.3.1
Syntax: SEQUENCE OF
MefSoamDmCfgEntry
N/A
This table includes configuration attributes and operations
for the Delay Measurement function defined in [Y.1731] and
[SOAM-PM]. Each row in the table represents a Delay
Measurement session for the defined MEP. Only one row is
supported, and displays information for the last
configuration session.
This table uses four indices. The first three indices are the
indices of the Maintenance Domain, MA, and MEP tables.
The fourth index is the specific DM session on the selected
MEP. A Delay Measurement session is created on an existing
MEP by first accessing the mefSoamDmOperNextIndex
object and using this value as the mefSoamDmCfgIndex in
the row creation.
The writable objects in this table must be persistent upon
reboot or restart of a device.
mefSoamDmCfgEntry
1.3.6.1.4.1.15007.1.3.1.3.1.1
Syntax: MefSoamDmCfgEntry
N/A
The conceptual row of mefSoamDmCfgTable.
mefSoamDmCfgIndex
1.3.6.1.4.1.15007.1.3.1.3.1.1.1
Syntax: Unsigned32
N/A
The index to the Delay Measurement Configuration table.
The index cannot be saved to the running configuration, and
upon every system boot/reboot, the index must start from 1.
The index can never be reused for other PM sessions for the
same MEP. The index value should keep increasing up to the
time that it wraps around. This is to facilitate access control
based on OID.
mefSoamDmCfgType
1.3.6.1.4.1.15007.1.3.1.3.1.1.2
Syntax: Integer
Read-create
This attribute indicates what type of Delay Measurement to
be performed.
•
dmDmm(1) - DMM SOAM PDU generated, DMR
responses received (1-way or 2-way measurements)
•
dm1DmTx(2) - 1DM SOAM PDU generated (1-way
measurements)
The exact PDUs to use are specified by this object in
combination with mefSoamDmCfgVersion.
This object can only be written at row creation time.
mefSoamDmCfgVersion
1.3.6.1.4.1.15007.1.3.1.3.1.1.3
Syntax: Unsigned32
Read-create
This attribute indicates the version of the PDUs used to
perform Delay Measurement. Only Version 0 is supported.
Version 0 indicates the PDU formats defined in Y.1731-2008.
The exact PDUs to use are specified by this object in
combination with mefSoamDmCfgType.
This object can only be written at row creation time.
