16.2 Replacing drive bindings
The service life of the drive bindings varies
depending on the employed power unit
(capacity).
When should the bindings be replaced?
The reference dimension is 22 mm from the
top edge to the base of the grooves. (refer to
illustration)
The bindings on the driving rollers and
deflection pulleys must be replaced if the
groove is deeper than 22 mm.

worn, correct clamping of the
binding in the rim is no longer
guaranteed. The binding can be
thrown off. This can result in
personal injury and damage to
equipment!
