12 The diamond wire
Introduction
This operating manual describes 2 connecting
elements for 2 different wire types.
Wire types
We are familiar with a sintered wire Ø 11 mm
and a galvanically bound wire. (see page 39)
l For installation only use TYROLIT original
links and only the original TYROLIT tools
for fitting these links
l Never kink the wires!
l With wall thicknesses of below 80 cm work
at a reduced pressure to minimise wear on
the beads.
Connecting elements
Both wires can be connected and repaired with
the following connecting elements:

Storing the wire
l After use clean the wire and always store in
a dry place away from light
The screw link should not be used with the
SK-B!
It causes increased incidence of wire
breaks!
