Agilent 85108A Pulsed-RF System
2 to 20 GHz
The following specifications describe the system
performance for the 8510C network analyzer in
85108A configuration. For complete specifications, refer
to the 85108A system data sheet. The system hardware
includes the following:
Test set: 85110A S-parameter test set
RF sources (one each): 83622B and 83623L synthesized
sweeper
Calibration kit: HP 85052B 3.5 mm calibration kit
Calibration technique: Full two-port calibration with
sliding loads
Other capabilities such as 50 GHz frequency coverage,
operating within synchronized pulsed bias, and measure-
ments such as spectrum analysis, noise figure and load
pull can be added easily without degradation of the raw
system performance.

1. This maximum power measurement assumes that the 85110A test set has its internal step attenuators set to 0 dB. The test set can
handle up to 20 W (+43 dBm) of power if the step attenuators are activated and an isolator is installed (in the port 2 rear panel link).
2. This maximum power measurement assumes that the 85110L test set has its internal step attenuators set to 0 dB. The test set can
handle up to 50 W (+47 dBm) of power if the step attenuators are activated and proper precautions are taken within the open
architecture loops.
