Mounting Adapter Plates (AAPs or MAAPs)
All AAPs and MAAPs should be mounted before the interface is installed in a wall or
furniture. Each AAP has standoffs (screws built into the rear panel) and nuts, which can
be used to secure the AAP to the interface. MAAPs are mounted from the front using hex
screws.
1.
Insert the AAP or MAAP standoffs into the screw holes in the interface.
2.
Using the provided #4-40 nuts (standard AAPs) or the provided #4-40 hex screws
(MAAPs), secure the AAP or MAAP to the interface.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 to mount other AAPs or MAAPs. Cover any openings in the
interface with blank AAP or MAAP plates.
4.
Be sure to include the AAP and MAAP connectors as part of the installation pretest
before final installation of the interface.
