10.4 iRIS Application Software Upgrade Procedure
The “Application Software” in the iRIS is analogous to an application such as Word® on a PC. It is the
software that contains the general functionality of the iRIS.
1. Connect to the iRIS using iLink.
2. Go to the Program Device form via the [Tools][Program Device] menu.
3. Stop the programs by clicking the [Stop Programs] button in the ‘Controls’ panel.
When the program has stopped, the Program Status panel should look like this.
