8. The new file is stored in a buffer in the iRIS and the Executive file is not updated until the [Start Flash
Upgrade] button is clicked.
9. A final confirmation is required before the actual flash upgrade is started.
10. During this procedure (which takes about 5 seconds) there is no further feedback from iLink. The
iRIS will automatically reboot when the upgrade is complete. Following the upgrade, disconnect
from the iRIS and then reconnect again. You should note that the firmware version on the status bar
and device information form changes, confirming that the process has completed successfully.
