PERIODIC CHECKS
These checks must be performed by qualified technicians according to the instructions
provided in the maintenance section of this manual.
Observe the local standards or regulations concerning the time intervals between checks.
The diesel pump is an automatic starting machine that can start up even in the
absence of any voltage in the panel!
Observe the following rules to prevent any accidental start-ups:
- Starting batteries must be disconnected from the diesel pump set;
- Key operated selector switch on the control panel must be set to the “0” position.
PRELIMINARY CHECKS IN THE EVENT OF MALFUNCTIONS
Do a visual check to identify possible troubles.
Do not perform any operations on the diesel pump components; call a qualified technician,
specifying the unit’s code number and the engine serial number.
BATTERIES
Check that battery clamps are tight ; Check electrolyte level
ENGINE
Oil level; Fuel level
TROUBLESHOOTING
A few troubleshooting operations can be performed directly by the user, while others must
be carried out by a qualified maintenance technician.
