3. Firmly hold the rear half of the
top cover, then remove it from
the chassis.
To remove the rear half of the top cover:
1. Loosen the thumbscrew that
secures the top cover on the
rear part of the chassis.
You need to remove the front half of the top cover before you can
remove the rear half of the top cover. Refer to section “2.1.1 Removing
the top cover (front half)” for instructions.
The barebone server without the
top cover is shown on the right.

2. Remove the screw on the rear
half of the cover.
