Pennsylvania
Three communities originating in Pennsylvania responded to the questionnaire
–
all of which
represented populations ranging between 10,000 and 30,000 citizens. Being that the data sets are few
in numbers the results are summarized in the bullets below:

Site plan review fees range from $25 per hour to a range of $25 to $300. The third community
indicates that fees vary depending upon the number of lots and acreage;

One community indicates that all fees attributed to site plan review

even those accompanying
a conditional use request vary depending on the number of lots and acreage.

Fees attributed to Site Plan Review associated with a Conditional or Special Use Permit are
$250;

Fees associated with additional information being required by a reviewing body are $100. One
other respondent indicates that the fee varies depending upon the scope.
South Dakota
The only fee cited by on South Dakota community (under 10,000 population) was attributed to
additional fees required for the site plan to be resubmitted. The response was $250.
Texas
Site Plan Review:
Variations on these flat fees include:

For communities with populations between 10,000 and 30,000:

Site plan review is included in the building permit fee;

Fee is based on the cost of the proposed construction. Fifty percent of the fee is
attributed to plan review and the balance to the building permit;

Varies based on size;

Based on cost of construction;

$200 for sites up to one acre and $150 for each additional acre;

$25 per hour but no defined escrowed or deposit requirement.

