11.7 USING SAVED FILTERS

Once you have defined filters and search terms, you may want to save them for
later use. You can then apply the same set of filters with a single click.

Saved filters will be common between:

the Clips tree and the Clip view in bins

the Playlists tree and the Playlists view in bins

the Timelines tree and the Timelines view in bins

To save filters, proceed as follows:

1. Define the filters you wish to save, as explained above.

2. Make sure the Saved Filters pane is visible under the tree view: the Saved

Filters button must be highlighted. It can be activated/de-activated by single
click.

3. Click the Save Filter button in the Save Filter pane.

The following contextual menu is displayed:

4. Select Save current applied filters from the menu.

The New Filters window is displayed.

5. Enter a name for the saved filters set.

6. Click OK to confirm.

The new filter name is listed in the Saved Filters pane.
