The Settings option is available under the options menu. Tapping on the Settings icon will
bring up the settings for the browser.
Setting Text Size: Tapping on the text size will display the size options which vary from tiny
to Huge. By default, ‘Normal’ is selected.
Setting Zoom sensitivity: Tapping on Default Zoom will display options to set the sensitivity
of the zoom level which include Far, Medium and Close. By default, Medium is selected.
Change Text Encoding: Tapping on ‘Text Encoding’ will display the options available to
choose a different text encoding.
Block/Unblock pop-up Windows: To block pop-up windows check the option ‘Block pop-up
windows’.
Load Images: Checking the option ‘Load Images’ will allow the browser to load the images
present on the webpages. Unchecking will prevent display of images present on the webpages by
the browser. By default, this option is checked.
Auto-fit Pages: Checking the option ‘Auto-fit Pages’ will fit the pages to the display size of
the device (to avoid horizontal scroll). Unchecking this option will display the webpages in its
original dimensions.Thi might need a horizontal scroll. By default, this option is checked.
Landscape only Display: Checking the ‘Landscape-only Display’ option will lock the screen
orientation to landscape. By default, this option is unchecked.
Enable/Disable JavaScript: Checking the ‘Enable JavaScript’ option will allow the browser to
run any JavaScript present on the webpages. Unchecking will prevent the running of any JavaS-
cript. By default, this option is checked.
Enable/Disable Plug-ins: Tapping on the option ‘Enable Plug-ins’ will display the options
Always on, On Demand and Off. By default, the option is set to Always On.
Open in background: Checking the ‘Open in background’ checkbox will instruct the brows-
er to open any new tabs in the background and to not switch focus to the newly operned tab.
Unchecking this option will cause the browser to open the browser in a new tab and switch focus
to it.
Set Home Page: Tapping on the option ‘Set Home Page’ will prompt the user to enter the
new Home page URL or tap on ‘Set Current Page’ to set the current page as home page.
Clear Cache: Tapping on ‘Clear Cache’ option will prompt the user for confirmation to de-
lete locally cached content and databases.
Clear History: Tapping on ‘Clear History’ option will prompt the user for confirmation to
delete all browser history.
Enable/Disable Cookies: Checking the ‘Accept Cookies’ option will allow websites to create
and read from cookies. By default, this option is checked.
