3-25 Periodic Maintenance
3 Locate the cleaning
unit release lever. Hold
down the side button
on the lever, and turn
the lever to the left.
Release the side
button, and leave the
lever in the upright
position.
4 Locate the develop-
ment unit release lever.
Move the lever clock-
wise until it locks into
place.
5 Remove the worn drum by pushing one side forward while
raising the other side up and out of its compartment. Dis-
pose of the worn drum properly.
6 Install a new drum (still
wrapped) by angling it
slightly and fitting one
end into the groove at
the right of the printer.
