7.4 Disconnecting a PPP Session
If you are ready to disconnect from your Internet service provider, click the disconnect button in the Connection
Overview screen. The following pop-up screen will appear. Click OK to disconnect the PPP session.
The PPP Status in the Connection Overview screen, allows you to view the state of your ISP connection. If you
click the disconnect button in Connection Overview screen, the PPP Status should display DOWN. This indicates
that you no longer have an ISP connection. In this event, your Router will maintain its DSL connection. If you want
to remove the DSL connection, either disconnect the cable from the DSL connector or remove power from the
Router.
