SpruceUp User’s Guide
Note: Adobe Photoshop files (.PSD extension) are assumed to be
buttons. To use a Photoshop file as a background you need to use its Save
a Copy function and save as a TIFF, BMP, or JPEG file. See the Creating
Photoshop Buttons topic for more information.
For background and button files, SpruceUp copies them to the current Style Gallery.
SpruceUp does not copy movie (video) files, but it does need to be able to write a parsed
file in the same directory as the movie file. This means movies cannot be imported directly
from a read-only source (CD-ROM for example) and you must have read/write privileges at
its location. There is a limit of 99 movies within the Media Gallery.
Warning: If you import a MPEG movie using elementary streams with
non-DVD compliant audio, a warning is displayed and SpruceUp continues
to import the video by itself. If using multiplexed streams, neither the
video nor the audio will import.
