Note: This is a floating dialog that you can position to an out-of-the-
way place (depending on your system's screen resolution) and leave open
until all shadows are set up.
Default Versus Custom
This dialog has two operating modes: Default and Custom.
The Default mode activates when you have no items selected – the bullet next to Default
indicates this mode is active. Any changes you make apply to all items added to the menu
from then on.
The Custom mode activates any time you select an item. Any changes you make in the
dialog apply to the selected items only.
There are two ways to define the default properties.
• Switch to the Default mode by clicking on a blank part of the menu – this de-selects
any current items. Any changes you make directly define the default properties
without needing to press the Set As Default button.
• Select an item (which puts you into the Custom mode), change the settings as
desired, then click on Set As Default.
