Launch Window
The Launch Window generally appears each time SpruceUp starts. Open it at anytime by
opening the View pull down menu and selecting Launch Window or using the keyboard
shortcut of Ctrl + 4.
First time SpruceUp users may want to go to the Introduction topic.
The bottom of the dialog contains a checkbox allowing you to disable this dialog from
automatically appearing when SpruceUp starts. Select Launch Window in the View pull
down menu to open it at any time.
The Launch Window provides quick access to the functions needed to start a new project or
open an existing one, plus additional functions useful to new users. The specific functions
include:
• New – Prepares SpruceUp for a new project. Behaves exactly like New in the File pull
down menu.
• Open – Displays a dialog where you can choose to browse to find a SpruceUp project
or template to open, or to choose from a list of the eight most recent projects.
• Tutorial – Starts the SpruceUp tutorial. The tutorial provides selections for either
viewing a short demo movie or running the tutorial. The tutorial provides the assets to
build the demo movie yourself.
