This parameter allows the host to change
the compression setting. Note that there
is a tradeoff between best performance
and best compression; if the compression
setting is 1 it provides the best
performance but the worst level of
compression. If the compression setting is
3, it provides lowest performance but
maximum compression. Settings for the
HOSTCOMPSETTING parameter are:
