To set or change a password

Press [Scan Original].
The Scan Original display appears.

Press [Password].

Enter a four- to eight-digit pass-
word using the number keys, and
then press the
{{{{#}}}} key.
DDDD
Reenter the password (four- to
eight- digits) for verification, and
then press the
{{{{#}}}} key.
EEEE
Press [OK].
Changing a Stored
Document's File Name, User
Name, or Password

Press the {{{{Document Server}}}} key.

Select the document with the user
name, file name, or password you
want to change.

❒ If a password has been set for
the document, enter the pass-
word and press [OK].

Press [File Management].

Press [Change File Name], [Change
User Name]
, or [Change Password].

Enter the new file name, user
