Connect the cables that you disconnected earlier.

Turn on the power, as described in “Turning On the Power”
(p. 13).

After the VS-1824 has finished its start up procedure, hold
down [SHIFT] and press [F4 (FX B)] to verify that the Effect B
menu appears.

When you reequip with a
effect expansion board
(EFFECT A), please check
that hold [SHIFT] and press
[F3 (FX A)] and a menu is
displayed.
If the Display Indicates “No Effect Board”
The internal effect expansion board was not detected correctly. Turn off the
power (Shutdown operation), as described in “Turning Off the Power” (p. 18),
and re-install the effect expansion board correctly.
