2.3.4 Elevation Data
Elevation data is used to display terrain elevation maps on the map screen and is also used to display
the AGL (above ground level) altitude. The data is available in large regions such as USA, Europe, or the
entire world. It is pre‐loaded into the ClearNav and stored on the provided USB Flash Drive. The
elevation data is stored in the “Globe” directory on the USB Flash Drive.
2.3.5 Shape Data (Cities, Rivers, Lakes and Roads, etc.)
Shape data is used to display cities and roads (“Culture”), and rivers and lakes (“water”) on the map.
The data is available in large regions such as USA, Europe, or the entire world. It is pre‐loaded into the
ClearNav and stored on the provided USB Flash Drive. The shape data is stored in the “Shape”
directory on the USB Flash Drive.
