If a message about the PC card is displayed
• If there is no more space on the PC card or 300 items of data are already stored in one group, either
delete unnecessary data or create a new group.
• If the data read from the PC card combined with the data registered in the Address Book exceeds
300 items, either delete unnecessary data or reduce the amount of data read from the PC card.
There are no files available in /BG/
folder. If the BG folder exists on the PC card
but no data in JPEG format exists. Use the appropriate data after read-
ing “Changing Background Picture”
on page 45.
Initialization failed. If the PC card could not be initialized
for any reason. Use the PC to initialize.
No map data available on this scale.
Scaling up. When the scale that had been dis-
played could not be displayed
because the map was scrolled to
areas not stored on the map disc
(unrecorded areas) or the vehicle
moved to areas not stored on the
map disc (unrecorded areas). If the desired scale cannot be
selected, insert the map disc that
contains that area and then change
the scale.
This function is not available with the
current map disc. In case the current position is areas
not stored on the map disc (unre-
corded areas) and an attempt was
made to zoom in to make the scale
0.5 mile or more. Zoom in again after the vehicle
moves into an area stored on the
map disc.
Or, replace the map disc and try to
zoom in again.
